We are looking for a Lead Python Developer to take ownership of backend engineering outcomes and mentor teammates across a distributed setup. You will deliver Python APIs with FastAPI and Django, contribute to scalable design, and ensure smooth deployments and releases—apply now.
Create and maintain backend components using modern Python tooling
Shape robust, scalable architecture and infrastructure decisions
Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver features and refinements
Investigate technical obstacles and improve performance hot spots
Deliver clean, consistent code aligned with agreed quality practices
Join technical sessions and help coordinate project workstreams
Assist with deployments and manage release-related activities
Drive continuous improvement through learning and knowledge sharing
Professional experience of 5+ years developing in Python, including backend services with FastAPI and Django
Leadership experience of 1+ year coaching and supporting development teams
Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for modern frontend development
Working experience with PostgreSQL for schema design and database operations
Practical skills with Docker to containerize, ship, and run applications
Strong emphasis on automated testing, covering unit tests and integration tests
Experience working in agile environments on large-scale, mission-critical initiatives
Collaborative approach with routine participation in code reviews and team development
Confidence working with remote teams across various regions
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence within the Atlassian ecosystem for planning and documentation
Knowledge of cloud services like S3, Lambda, AWS AKS, and CloudWatch to manage cloud infrastructure
Advanced English proficiency (B2 level or higher), written and verbal
Practical exposure to GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and automation
Understanding of Jira and GitHub integration for better project oversight
Familiarity with DevOps practices that improve collaboration between development and operations
Background in finance or Treasury, including payments, wire transfers, reconciliations, and cash flow management
