Mid-Level Sql Developer

Position OverviewSenior SQL Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, as well as database schemas and data models.

The role includes performance optimization, data integration, and collaboration with analysts and stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.Build and optimize database schemas and data models.Support ETL processes and data integration workflows.Maintain data integrity, consistency, and security across systems.Analyze and optimize slow-running queries and database performance.Create and maintain indexes, partitions, and execution plans.Monitor database performance and proactively identify bottlenecks.Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, flat files, third-party systems).

Develop and maintain data pipelines for reporting and operational use.Ensure high availability and reliability of data systems.Partner with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver reporting datasets.Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.Document database structures, processes, and workflows.Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.Maintain version control and deployment processes.Qualifications3-6 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role.Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).

Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization.Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.Experience with version control (Git or similar).

Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Snowflake, etc.).

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schemas).

Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
