Compensation: MX$38,600/month

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer with strong SQL Server expertise and hands-on experience supporting production applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting production issues, optimizing database performance, supporting application releases, and ensuring high availability of business-critical systems. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, ownership, and the ability to work overlapping business hours when required.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for .NET-based enterprise applications.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, application errors, and database-related issues.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across the application and SQL Server.
• Analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Monitor application and database health to ensure high availability.
• Support application deployments, patches, and release activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call support and handle critical production incidents during peak business hours.
• Prepare RCA (Root Cause Analysis) documents and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Follow ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET/.NET Framework or .NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience in Production Support (L2/L3).
• Experience troubleshooting application and database performance issues.
• Knowledge of SQL Server execution plans, indexing, deadlocks, blocking, and query optimization.
• Experience with REST APIs and Web Services.
• Familiarity with Git/Azure DevOps or similar version control and CI/CD tools.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server migration and upgrades.
• Knowledge of IIS, Windows Server, and application hosting.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Understanding of monitoring tools like Application Insights, Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
