OverviewWe are seeking a Part-Time Web Developer with strong Technical SEO knowledge to support a website optimization and SEO migration project.The role focuses on improving site performance, ensuring correct indexation, resolving technical errors, and implementing best practices that allow search engines to crawl and index the website effectively.The ideal candidate combines web development expertise with technical SEO understanding, capable of collaborating with SEO specialists and implementing technical changes directly in the website code and server environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical SEO ImplementationImplement redirects during site migrations or URL structure changes.Configure and maintain canonical tags, hreflang tags, and meta directives.Generate, update, and submit XML sitemaps.Resolve indexation and crawlability issues identified in Google Search Console.Ensure proper robots.txt configuration.Website Performance OptimizationImprove Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP).

Optimize page speed, server response time, and caching strategies.Implement image compression, lazy loading, and code minification.Reduce unnecessary scripts, plugins, or third-party requests.Technical Issue ResolutionIdentify and fix HTML, CSS, and JavaScript errors affecting SEO.Resolve broken links, redirect chains, and duplicate content issues.Ensure proper internal linking structure and URL hierarchy.CMS & Platform ManagementImplement SEO changes in WordPress or other CMS platforms.Manage SEO plugins (Yoast, RankMath, etc.) and configuration.Ensure correct integration of analytics and tracking scripts.Analytics & TrackingSupport installation and validation of:Google Analytics (GA4)Google Tag ManagerGoogle Search ConsoleMarketing pixels (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)Validate tracking scripts and troubleshoot implementation issues.CollaborationWork closely with the SEO strategist and marketing team.Translate SEO recommendations into technical implementation.Provide guidance on best practices for site architecture and performance.Required SkillsTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience with WordPress development and CMS managementFamiliarity with PHP and MySQLExperience managing website hosting environmentsUnderstanding of server configurations and DNSExperience implementing technical SEO fixesSEO-Related KnowledgeRedirect implementation *)Canonical tags and duplicate content managementXML sitemaps and robots.txtCrawlability and indexation best practicesCore Web Vitals optimizationToolsExperience with some of the following:Google Search ConsoleGoogle Analytics (GA4)Google Tag ManagerScreaming FrogSEMrush / AhrefsPageSpeed Insights / LighthousePreferred QualificationsExperience working on SEO migration projects.Knowledge of structured data (Schema markup).
