PHP Tech Lead

Team Leader – PHP Full Stack (LAMP) Requirements

7+ years of experience in PHP development.

4+ years in a leadership or senior technical role.

Strong hands-on experience with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).

Solid understanding of both front-end and backend development.

Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, including authentication, versioning, and integration patterns.

Experience with React and working knowledge of Node.js or TypeScript is a plus.

Exposure to AWS services, cloud development, or modern infrastructure architectures.

Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to quickly adopt new technologies.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containers (Docker) is an advantage. Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of software engineers in developing scalable, high performance applications using PHP, MySQL, and LAMP-based technologies.

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to support application functionality and integration.

Work with AWS cloud services to build, deploy, and optimize application components, including API-driven workloads.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in API design, code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.

Participate in project planning, sprint estimation, and requirement analysis, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and promote continuous learning and improvement.
