We are looking for a Power BI Developer with strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development to deliver insightful, scalable, and performance-optimized business intelligence solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and project managers to translate requirements into effective Power BI reports and dashboards. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports

Build and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop

Write efficient DAX measures and calculated columns

Perform data transformation using Power Query (M language)

Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.)

Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage dataset security

Publish reports to Power BI Service and manage scheduled refreshes

Ensure performance tuning and best practices for large datasets

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements

Provide support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing reports

Maintain proper documentation and follow governance standards Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI

Excellent knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M)

Strong SQL skills (writing complex queries, joins, aggregations)

Experience in data modeling and star schema design

Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, and gateways

Understanding of security, RLS, and access control

Good analytical and problem-solving skills Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

Experience with Power BI Premium

Exposure to Power Apps and Power Automate

Experience embedding Power BI reports into applications

Familiarity with Azure services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse)

Knowledge of Git / Azure DevOps
