PowerBI Developer The PowerBI Developer will operate under the Principal Engineer at our India branch under the Capability Development tower, in support of the analytic and science mission, and is accountable for:
Migrating several cyber security related dashboards, charts, and reports from Splunk into PowerBIWorking with Cybersecurity Sciences and Analytics customers to create new cyber security related business reports, charts, and dashboards in PowerBI.
Tasks associated with this role include:
Designing and building data models for use in PowerBI
Writing SQL statements as needed for retrieving data from databases as needed to build data models for PowerBI.
Designing and building aesthetically pleasing and intuitive dashboards in PowerBI
Transitioning data transformation logic and visual elements from splunk dashboards into PowerBI dashboards.
Performing light python scripting as needed for data transformation
Participation in special projects on behalf of HClient and CS&A leadership.
Skills A strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and visual design.
Experience writing SQL statements needed for retrieving data from databases.
Experience in PMP/Prince2, SCRUM, and Kanban program management methods
Excellent understanding of cyber security principles, global financial services business models, regional compliance regulations and applicable laws.Excellent understanding and knowledge of common industry cyber security frameworks, standards and methodologies, including; OWASP, ISO2700x series, PCI DSS, GLBA, Global data security and privacy acts, FFIEC guidelines, CIS, and NIST standards.
An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily-understood, authoritative and actionable manner.
Power BI development and administration.
Building Analysis Services reporting models.
