Key Responsibilities / Job Description Attend design reviews and provide product evaluations to ensure designs support practical and cost‑effective manufacturing methods.

Support the review of engineering drawings prior to Production Release to verify manufacturability and alignment with state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing techniques.

Assist in make‑or‑buy analyses and provide recommendations regarding in‑house versus external manufacturing capabilities.

Participate in vendor surveys and support supplier performance evaluations.

Evaluate and define requirements for assembly tooling, fixtures, and equipment needed to support manufacturing operations.

Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and contribute to the disposition of nonconforming materials and assemblies.

Support Change Control Board (CCB) reviews to ensure proposed engineering changes are manufacturable and within production capabilities.

Assist in monitoring daily production activities and recommend improvements to reduce material waste and labor costs.

Coordinate with Methods and Tooling teams by providing technical interpretations of product specifications and drawings for the development of tools, fixtures, and process instructions.

Develop manufacturing assembly flow charts to support efficient product flow and assembly sequencing.

Create and maintain assembly floor layouts and equipment configurations to ensure efficient product movement through production stages.

Conduct special manufacturing projects, evaluations, and surveys as assigned by management.

Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, TPM, VSM, and continuous improvement activities.

Perform all assigned duties and any additional tasks required by the department or organization.

Qualifications Experience in PCBA manufacturing and electronics assembly environments.

Working knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 standards.

Experience with solder process validation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Proven multitasking abilities and flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Demonstrated high attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and cross‑functional teams.

Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and sound independent judgment.

Ability to work with minimal supervision while exercising initiative and decision‑making skills.

Knowledge and application of continuous improvement tools and methodologies.

Strong customer service orientation and client‑focused mindset.

Proficient in productivity tools including Microsoft Office Suite and WebEx or similar collaboration platforms.
