Job Summary

Our team is looking for a Backend Engineer familiar with Python and working with complex distributed systems.

We want someone who enjoys helping other team members grow and has a strong focus on customer experience.

On the Mobile Platform team, we build foundational architecture widely used by customers and mobile engineers at the organization.

Responsibilities

• Improve backend infrastructure supporting our mobile product
• Develop and maintain core web apps for a world class cloud platform
• Lead team initiatives for quality and resiliency in our backend services

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with Python and Flask
• Ability to solve problems and think critically on your own
• Enthusiastic and curious in your approach to coding
• Empathy and respect for co-workers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin / KTOR / JVM backend services
• Experience with Istio or similar service mesh technology
• Experience with Node
