Mission
Quality Management System
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management
- System in compliance with applicable standards
- Ensure compliance with corporate quality policies, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Lead internal, external, and customer audits.
- Ensure effective quality controls are implemented across high-speed cable assembly processes.
- Monitor and drive improvements in key quality metrics including First Pass Yield (FPY), customer PPM, scrap, and rework rates.
- Ensure proper implementation of quality tools such as SPC, Control Plans, and PFMEA.
- Lead structured root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns.
- Manage customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions.
- Represent the plant during customer audits and quality reviews.
- Ensure incoming materials and components meet quality standards.
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support supplier qualification and performance improvement initiatives.
- Lead and develop the quality engineering and quality technician teams.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the plant.
- Provide coaching and training to cross-functional teams on quality processes and best practices.
- Education bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in quality within electronics or cable assembly manufacturing environments.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing quality teams.
- Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 preferred)
- Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC)
- Manufacturing processes related to cable assemblies or electronic products
- Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
