Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced React Native Technical Lead to lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, and native mobile development using Swift or Kotlin.

This role involves driving technical decisions, establishing engineering best practices, optimizing application performance, managing CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring distributed engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable React Native applications.
• Establish mobile engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor and support engineers across multiple locations and time zones.
• Drive technical decision-making, architectural reviews, and code reviews.
• Develop maintainable and type-safe solutions using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Implement state management solutions using Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar frameworks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile application delivery.
• Manage release processes, deployment automation, and environment configurations.
• Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks.
• Integrate native mobile functionality using Swift or Kotlin when required.
• Promote code quality, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience developing production applications with React Native.
• 4+ years of native mobile development experience with either iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) .
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing scalable mobile application architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Redux, Context API, Zustand, or equivalent state management frameworks.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of the mobile application lifecycle and release management.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and supporting distributed engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work during US Mountain Time business hours.
• Willingness to complete a technical assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing native bridge modules using Swift or Kotlin.
• Experience publishing and maintaining NPM packages.
• Expertise in React Native performance profiling, tuning, and optimization.
• Familiarity with AWS, Firebase, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, or Appium.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Public GitHub repositories or a portfolio demonstrating strong coding standards and architectural skills.
• Experience supporting both iOS and Android native platforms.
