About the Role We are seeking a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator with deep expertise in SQL Server to ensure optimal database performance, security, and availability . This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to meet business objectives and deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, proactive, and able to work independently , with strong communication and organizational skills.
Assess database health, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective resolutions Ensure proactive monitoring, alerts, and maintenance to optimize system and application performance Manage databases with a strong focus on security, scalability, and performance Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions for critical databases Automate operational processes using scripting and tooling to improve efficiency Perform capacity planning to support current and future business growth Collaborate across functional teams and provide consultative technical guidance Deploy database changes following established change management procedures Evaluate and implement database lifecycle management strategies ✅ Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience 7 years of SQL Server Database Administration experience 5 years of SQL and Transact‑SQL (T‑SQL) experience Expertise with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS Familiarity with third‑party backup solutions Experience running SQL Server in cloud environment
