SQL Developer / Data Engineer About the Role: We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer / Data Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SQL-based data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and operational processes. You will work with large datasets and collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, performance, and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities: SQL Development

Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects

Build and maintain SQL-based ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading

Improve database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis

Support data integration between core insurance systems and analytics platforms- Data Management

Work with large structured datasets including policy, claims, underwriting, and billing data

Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems

Design and maintain data models, database schemas, and technical documentation Reporting & Analytics Support

Provide SQL datasets and data pipelines for actuarial analysis, claims analytics, and operational reporting

Support BI tools and dashboards used by business stakeholders

Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure accurate data transformation and availability Collaboration

Partner with data engineers, solution architects, and business analysts to support data initiatives

Assist with integration of data warehouses, cloud data platforms, and reporting systems

Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and reviews Preferred Qualifications

Strong experience with SQL development and database performance optimization

Experience working with large datasets and data transformation processes

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines

Experience supporting BI tools or analytics platforms
