• *Key Responsibilities
• *SQL Development
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex
• *SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
• Perform
• *data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)

using SQL-based pipelines

• Optimize database performance through
• *query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis
• Support
• *data integration between core insurance systems and analytics platforms

Data Management

• Work with large structured datasets including
• *policy, claims, underwriting, and billing data
• Ensure
• *data quality, integrity, and consistency

across multiple systems

• Create and maintain
• *data models, database schemas, and documentation

Reporting & Analytics Support

• Provide SQL datasets for
• *actuarial, claims analytics, and operational reporting
• Support
• *BI tools and dashboards

used by business stakeholders

• Partner with analytics teams to ensure accurate
• *data availability and transformation logic

Collaboration

• Work with
• *data engineers, architects, and business analysts
• Support integration with
• *data warehouses, cloud data platforms, or reporting systems
• Participate in
• *Agile development processes and sprint cycles
• *Required Qualifications
• *Technical Skills
• 5+ years of
• *hands-on SQL development experience
• Strong experience with:
• SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar relational databases
• Complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization
• Stored procedures, triggers, and views
• Experience working with
• *large-scale enterprise datasets

Data Engineering Exposure

• Familiarity with
• *ETL processes and data pipelines
• Experience supporting
• *data warehouses or analytics environments
• Understanding of
• *data modeling and normalization concepts

Insurance Domain Experience

• Experience working with
• *insurance data (Claims, Policy, Underwriting, Billing)

is strongly preferred

• *Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with
• *Duck Creek, or other insurance platforms
• Exposure to
• *cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience with
• *Python, PySpark, or other data engineering tools
• Familiarity with
• *BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
