What You Will Be Doing

• Install, configure, and maintain relational Database environments in alignment with industry best practices and organizational standards.
• Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and query optimization; manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Implement and enforce robust security controls, including access management, encryption, and auditing, to safeguard sensitive data.
• Prioritize and propose automated solutions over manual controls as a mandatory practice, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and reduced operational risk.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance database solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues to ensure high availability, reliability, and minimal downtime.
• Support deployment activities and provide production support for enterprise-scale systems, including incident response and root cause analysis.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline routine database administration tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, or other industry-standard tools.

What You Will Likely Bring

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA and/or Developer in enterprise environments.
