What You'll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of major features or services within the Platform Catalog ecosystem.
• Drive architectural discussions and propose scalable solutions aligned with engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical outcomes.
• Advocate for system reliability, performance, and observability across multiple integrations.
• Strong software engineering skills (Java, REST/GraphQL APIs, Docker, Kubernetes to design API to consume/produce data and build backend applications to power the client advertising platforms.
• Use kafka/aerospike/Elasticsearch for building a realtime data pipeline as a backbone for the entire

Advertising team.

• Expertise in microservices architecture for highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
• Participate and manage on-call and production support rotations to support and troubleshoot system issues off-hours and during promotional events
• Team Coordination: Coordinate with team members to assign tasks, set goals, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues.
• Technical Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering continuous learning and improvement.

We Are a Match Because you have:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of delivering production-grade systems.
• Deep expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, and API design.
• Proficiency in, Java, with strong debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience operating in cloud-native environments (preferably GCP).
• Ability to influence design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding and experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL ) and data processing tools (e.g., Kafka, Aerospike, Elasticsearch ).
• Experience with GraphQL
• Familiarity with cloud-native systems, containerization ( Docker/Kubernetes ), and CI/CD pipelines.
