Application Development

What you'll do

Design and develop high-availability backend services and APIs focused on performance and scalability

Lead end-to-end system design, shaping architecture decisions and technical direction

Build and evolve microservices-based systems, including migrations from monoliths

Ensure seamless integration across systems and services

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions for users and patients

Contribute to improving engineering practices, deployment frequency, and delivery processes

Balance new feature development with technical debt, bug fixes, and system improvements

What you'll bring

*+ years of experience with Java

Strong expertise in Spring Boot

Proven hands-on experience with AWS in production environments

Solid understanding of microservices architecture and REST API development

Experience designing and building systems end-to-end

Ability to lead or influence architectural decisions

Background working with high-scale systems and complex migrations (monolith to microservices)

Familiarity with event-driven architectures and tools like Kafka (nice to have)

Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment practices (nice to have)

Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (nice to have)

Experience with observability and monitoring tools (nice to have)
