Job Overview
Responsible for providing best‑in‑class technical support to a global customer base. Maintains ownership for the resolution of complex technical problems, including debugging, simulations, locating bugs, tool and script development for problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and reproduction. Good in scripting and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer functional and non‑functional testing activities, providing technical expertise on Amdocs products and telco standards (LTE, 3G, SS7, Diameter) and customizing emulator flows/scripts.
- Work closely with off‑shore and on‑shore Amdocs teams while troubleshooting and investigating issues.
- Deploy and integrate Amdocs solutions into the customer telecom network, working directly with customers and third‑party vendors.
- Support production systems for critical customers 24/7 in weekly shifts (on‑call duty).
- Automate test scripts and assist in validating scenarios.
- Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging solutions, provide workarounds, and review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
- Collaborate as part of a talented team on challenging projects.
- Learn the telco industry's most recent trends.
- Develop non‑standard solutions for continuously evolving environments and standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, IT, Computing, or related field.
- Experience as a Network Engineer (8+ years).
- Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting (6+ years).
- Proficiency in Linux system troubleshooting (6+ years).
- Deep understanding of network concepts and protocols.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
Preferred Experience
- SS7, Diameter, and HTTP server knowledge.
- Experience with Intelligent Routing Controller and load balancer.
- Customer‑facing experience.
- Generative AI exposure.
- SLEE technology knowledge.
- Application Server maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
