You will prioritize test execution, hands on validation and certification of the software readiness.
What will your job look like?
- Accomplish test procedures and/ or scripts either manually or by automated tools.
- Supervise and report on the test execution in a timely manner with attention given to achieving outstanding quality.
- Capture and detail the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage.
- Analyze reports and discrepancies to resolve root cause and evaluate script failures at a high level.
- Compare and analyze system behavior vs. encouraged results/important metrics based on business and technical requirements. Identifies issues, proposes system improvements and performs repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues.
- You will participate and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials.
- Skills Required: Hands on experience in Mainframe Online & Batch, JCL, COBOL, Abend/Error Resolution, VSAM, CICS, DB2, IMS DB, IMS DC and AWS Cloud migration knowledge.
- Telecom Billing Experience – Preferable
- Effective and clear communication skills - Must
- Hands on Experience on JCL, COBOL, VSAM and CICS - MUST
- Hands on Experience on DB2/IMS DB - Must
- Hands on experience in Batch Scheduler(ESP/CA7) - Must
- Hands on Experiences in resolving abends/Error - Must
- Hands On Exp in Connect Direct(C:D) and MQ series – Must
- Test Data Preparation in mainframe ( feed data to batch Cycle) - Must
- Automation tool (QTP, REX) using Mainframe platform - Preferable
- Proficient in at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure - Preferable
- Experience of System Testing life Cycle(STLC) - Must
- Experience in Test/defect management tool - Preferable
- Experience in writing Quality Test Design Independently - Must
- Experience in Test Execution Independently - Must
- Stakeholders Collaboration – Must
Required Gen Skills
- Experience with Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, Claude)
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot)
- Prompt engineering and optimization
- Model fine-tuning and customization
- Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
- Python, APIs, and SDKs for AI integration
- Cloud platforms (AWS)
