Unix / SQL Support Engineer

This role is focused on providing technical and functional support for critical trading and order management platforms, ensuring system stability, incident resolution, and continuous operational improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Required

• Strong experience with Unix/Linux administration
• Solid SQL knowledge and ability to write complex queries
• Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python
• Knowledge of FIX Protocol
• Experience with Git-based tools such as GitHub Actions and GitLab
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (build, deployment, release)
• Troubleshooting process failures, job conflicts, and scheduling issues
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure support
• Database debugging and script translation experience
• Familiarity with backup strategies and disaster recovery planning
• Advanced English proficiency is required for effective communication in a global support environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for trading and order management systems
• Troubleshoot failures in Linux environments and scheduled jobs
• Support start-of-day and end-of-day production activities
• Perform incident detection, logging, impact analysis, communication, and closure
• Generate and customize client reports using SQL and database scripts
• Support automation initiatives through scripting and code debugging
• Manage deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and procedures
• Participate in release, change, and incident management processes
• Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment
