Unix Support Engineer

Net2Source Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Unix/SQL Support Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Position: Unix/SQL Support Engineer

Location: 100% Remote – Mexico

Your Key Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments with process management skills.
• Experience writing SQL queries and performing database debugging/troubleshooting.
• Experience with at least one scripting language (Shell / Perl / Python).
• Knowledge of GitLab / GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices (incident, change, and release management).
• Advanced English and Spanish

What You’ll Do:

• Provide technology support to the Equities trading division, including knowledge of FIX protocol.
• Troubleshoot process failures in Linux environments, job conflicts, and job scheduling issues.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and support Start of Day / End of Day production processes.
• Provide functional support to the Order Management System (OMS).
• Develop basic automation using scripting and assist with debugging.
• Generate and customize client reports using SQL and database translation scripts.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines (build, deploy, release).
