· Reduction of the backlog from customer complaints by applying the 8d methodology, closing 40+ per fiscal year.
· FAI’s for assembly elaboration and following the approval for the customers.
· Applied Kaizen methodology in production quality issues boosting 28 % scrap reduction of FY24 vs FY23.
· Managed with SQE’s team the external suppliers for quality, improvement’s and issues resolutions.
· Faster disposition of non-conforming material on hold from suppliers or assembly, like RMA disposition or evaluations of visual and dimensional defects with 60-days goal.
· Coordinate of MRB meetings with engineering team to reduce the internal rejections with the implementation of new equipment’s of measurements, poka-yokes, aid visual, 5S, etc.
Position, Product/ Test Quality Technician
Migration project of turning process of shell connectors for aluminum and steel.
· Creation of quality inspection plans from new products using CPK methodology.
· Elaboration from 300+ First Article Inspections using Vision System (OGP), VICI, Keyence, Optical Comparator, CMM, Profilometer, Caliper, etc.
· Daily Internal Audits for the purpose of improving the production flow with less production scrap.
Position, Engineering Intern
Migration project of turning process of shell connectors for aluminum and steel.
· Work instructions, work centers and aid visual for turning machines.
· Control of inventory and purchasing requirements of the gages for new products according to the customer specifications.
