Adriana Peralta Suchil

I am a Mexican lawyer with 7 years of experience in Regulatory and Competition Law. Currently, I am excited to be back in Mexico City after living abroad for almost 3 years. I studied my LL.M. in International Business, Competition and Regulatory Law and worked in a boutique German law firm in Berlin, Germany.

My practice focus in competition law, regulatory and corporate law in general. I am a passionate and driven legal professional who strives to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions for clients in various sectors and jurisdictions. I have a strong academic background, having completed a Master of Laws in Business, Competition and Regulatory Law at Freie Universität Berlin, and a Diploma in Economic Competition at Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas.

I worked as a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin (research associate) at BLOMSTEIN, a boutique law firm in Berlin that specializes in public procurement, trade, and competition law.

Prior to joining BLOMSTEIN, I was an associate in the antitrust and competition practice group at Galicia Mexico, a leading law firm in Mexico City, where I mainly advise on antitrust and regulatory matters in regulated industries. I advised and represented clients on various issues, such as pre-merger filing notices, cross participation requests, cartel investigations, and internal compliance policies. I also worked in the merger control direction of the Federal Economic Competition Commission, the regulatory authority in charge of enforcing the competition law in Mexico.

Through this experience, I developed and applied my skills in legal writing, research, analysis, and communication, as well as my knowledge of the Mexican and international legal frameworks and best practices.

Currently, I am excited to be back in Mexico City and open for new opportunities that will allow me to be part of a dynamic and diverse team that shares my values of excellence, integrity, and collaboration, but most importantly, that challenges me to grow and learn every day

I studied my Bachelor Degree in Law at Universidad Panamericana and obtained a Master of Laws in Business, Competition and Regulatory Law at Freie Universität Berlin (Germany). Also, I did a seminar in Competition and Antitrust Law at Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (Mexico City). Currently I am studying a Fintech Law Diploma at Universidad Panamericana.
