Alejandro Díaz

I'm Alejandro. I have always liked languages, writing and reading so I chose to pursue my interests to earn my living. I have been translating, transcribing, and reviewing since 2012, working on different kinds of projects and domains.

Lately I've been focusing on the most creative sides of translation such as transcreation and working on bringing marketing and advertising material from English into Spanish without losing the meaning of the original but adapting to the cultural particularities and characteristics of the target language.

• I was responsible for translating legal and financial documents.
• Creating a glossary of terminology.
• Translating letters and email from English to Spanish and Spanish to English.

Freelance Translator

• I have been working as a freelance translator for different translation agencies such as Stepes, Verbit, Focus Forward and Locaria.
• I have also great experience transcribing Spanish audio into English text.
