Alejandro Vivian

My name is Alejandro Vivian and I live in Mexico City, my passion is to generate environmentally responsible designs that are accessible to all. I have had the opportunity to collaborate on projects with students from different universities in Mexico and students from Chiba University in Japan. My goal is to learn and acquire new skills in order to be a more complete professional and to be able to contribute to Mexican design.

• Modeled and calculated pallets for Klearit for point of sale at Costco.
• Designed the packaging system for delivery experience, for the restaurant DANTE BRASA Y FUEGO. Included prototypes and detailed assembly blueprints.

• Analysed competition weak points, ergonomics, and resistance; for design and optimization of products. Achieved 25% reduction of raw materials and 30% of storage space in the new cutlery collection of the Eco Choice line, delivering final blueprints to the mold engineers.
• 3D modeled spare and new mechanical parts for injection molding machines, delivering final blueprints for fabrication.
• Advised the marketing team with packaging proposals, facilitating in-store logistics, and improving interaction with the consumer.
• Supervised the user experience of the Carcal website as well as user interface assets such as iconography, video, and photography.
• Linked and supervised the marketing and quality teams to manage and develop pallets for point of sale at Costco, Sams Club, Chedraui, HEB, and ALDI. Optimized use of space on pallet to 95-100%.
• Localized and supervised new suppliers for the execution of emerging projects.
