Transportation Planning & Logistics Coordinator at Albemarle Corporation (2021-01 – 2024-07)

Planning shipments to delivery locations using SAP Platform and Transport Management System.

• Build solid relationships with carriers and freight forwarders to deliver high level of customer service throughout Asia (Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore).
• Ensure all Customer Service Representatives from 10 different regions throughout Asia are proactively and fully informed of cargo status by keeping up to date the TM system.
• Reduce in 10 days the number of days delays by booking with different Steamship lines immediately upon the material being released in the system. Now the material is arriving by the requested delivery date or even 2 days before.

Accounts Payable - Contingent Worker at Albemarle Corporation (2020-04 – 2020-12)

Work on implementing an automatization system with account payable's team to process more than 2,000 invoices awaiting payment, affecting each step of the company's supply chain.

• Support training more than 50 over the road carriers how to submit their Proof of Delivery through a portal, in order to correctly process their invoices related to each shipment.
• Implementation of the new invoice payment process through SAP, processing more than 2,000 outstanding invoices pending payment. Now the payment process takes about one to two days, whereas before it took more than two weeks.

Logistics Assistant at Tesa tape, inc. (2019-03 – 2020-03)

Monitor and coordinate the logistics routes throughout all the country and support the warehouse's team to run an Inventory analysis. Samples's logistics coordinator from different warehouses located in Germany, Italy, China, Taiwan, and USA.

• Enhanced the sample export time–processing of new orders by 50%, collaborating closely with the warehouse to improve the layout of all the samples inside the warehouse, resulting in expedited and simplified product identification.

Imports & Exports Coordinator at Kuka Systems de México S de RL de CV (2017-09 – 2018-10)

Coordinate the most suitable mode of transportation (multimodal, air, rail, sea, road for all incoming and outgoing shipments with the Freight forwarder and carrier. Ensure proper control for customs clearance as well as correctly classification (HS code, quantity, value, country of origin).

• Identification of a bottleneck in the export documentation, as part of the returning process of manufactured parts, which was affecting the company's ability to meet the customer's requested delivery date. I addressed the issue by complying with Mexican customs authorities and submitting the required documentation via the VUCEM platform (Ventanilla Única de Comercio Exterior Mexicano – Single Window for Mexican Foreign Trade)

Import and Export Supervisor at Becomar de México S. de R.L. de C.V. (2015-02 – 2015-12)

Negotiation with Custom, Logistic Agents and with suppliers, Leader of an Exports project of a new product and Contract negotiation, such as prices, delivery (INCOTERM) with directors of KE GROUP.
