BCom Investment Management graduate with recent hands-on experience in a private equity environment where I contributed to business development initiatives and supporting portfolio management activities. Through my internship at KTH, I assisted with deal screening, investment committee preparation, and portfolio monitoring, strengthening my financial modelling and analytical capabilities. I am seeking to apply and broaden my skillset within an investment/banking environment, with a strong interest in understanding the economic and financial drivers that shape successful businesses in various markets.

As a CFA Program candidate, I am committed to deepening my expertise in financial analysis, valuation, and portfolio management, while continuing to develop and apply my financial modelling expertise in an impact-focussed team.

Investment Intern at Kagiso Tiso Holdings (2024-06 – Present)

Though exposed to various areas within private equity, my primary responsibility at KTH has been within business development, where I supported the identification and assessment of new investment opportunities and assess their strategic alignment with KTH's mandate.

Conducted preliminary market, industry and financial research to support evaluation of new business and investment opportunities.
Maintained deal pipeline database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on live and potential transactions.
Managed and organized key transaction documents including NDA, EOI, NBOs as well as Term Sheets.
Supported Investment Manager and Investment Director in compiling investment memos, preparing pitch decks and presentations for internal investment committee meetings.
