Manufacturing Engineer, Sales, & Business development - Warren is a Canadian owned tier 1 & tier 2 automotive supplier (most products were safety critical). I supported the company in all technical areas reporting directly to the general manager.

Engineering - I was responsible for the management of all: Engineering documentation, (layouts, flow diagrams, PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, etc…), directing all launch activities for new programs and engineering changes, validating all process improvements, and supporting all departments (and corporate engineering and Quality) where needed.

Business Development - Supported business development with evaluating current business for financial improvement opportunities, identifying our most profitable products and processes, and new technologies that we could implement to give Warren a competitive advantage.

Sales – Supported the sales group by quoting all assembly and machining process for all RFQ´s, represented the company with demonstrating to customers our technical abilities, and evaluated initial feasibility for all RFQ´s. All quotes were complete with CAPEX requitements, timing, process layout, headcount, and any manufacturing or quality concerns that needed to be identified to the customer.

BIW assemblies (GMAW & resistance welding)

Mechanical assembly.

Key successes

Led the design, build, and launch of multiple new processes and new programs.

Installation of 2 presses (core business) - infrastructure design, supervised all suppliers, the installation, and the start-up of the 2 press with feed lines and scrap systems. The project was completed on time and in budget.
