Engineering and Maintenance Manager at DURAPLAY PLANTA CUU (2024-10 – Present)
Responsibility in the Engineering area at the CUU plant is the management of CAPEX. The main projects completed in 2025 included a feed system modification that improved board quality, as well as the recovery of finished product storage areas, which contributed to increasing plant's EBIT through the development of business cases. In the Maintenance area, responsible for ensuring equipment availability through a Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach.
Developed and implemented a Lean Manufacturing system as part of work strategy (TIER, KPIs, Gemba, 5'S, and competency-based management). Reports directly to the Operations Director, with 2 Junior Managers, 2 Area Supervisors, 1 Senior Engineer, and 24 maintenance technicians reporting.
Engineering and Maintenance Coordinator at CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE (2023-09 – 2024-10)
As Engineering Coordinator, responsible for new product launches. Main customers included Daimler Chrysler, GM, Audi, and VW, with opportunity to work directly with their design teams. Project management systems followed IATF 16949 standards for documentation control.

Maintenance Manager at CORZA MEDICAL (2022-08 – 2023-10)
Main objective was to act as an agent of change to implement Operational Excellence in a 2,500-employee organization. Responsible for the machining workshop, where tooling for cutting, stamping, and fixture assembly was produced. The shop specialized in micro-laser and CNC equipment.
Maintenance procedures, routines, and scheduling were improved based on risk matrices and failure histograms. Reported directly to the Plant Manager. Team included 1 Machining Supervisor, 2 Maintenance Supervisors, 14 machining technicians, 8 maintenance technicians, and 1 purchasing agent.
Maintenance Manager at AFTON CHEMICAL (Aditivos Mexicanos) (2020-05 – 2022-08)
Main objective was to implement a corporate operating model, including procedures, manuals, work instructions, and certifications for the chemical industry. In Maintenance, led the RCM implementation roadmap and SAP deployment for the maintenance module with an external consultant. Reported directly to the Plant Manager. Team included 3 Junior Engineers (SAP Planner, MRP Purchasing, Automation & Control), 3 Maintenance Supervisors, and 14 technicians.
