I’m a quantitative researcher with a Ph.D., specializing in epidemiology, biostatistics, and data-driven decision-making. I have extensive experience in registry-based research and statistical modeling, and I’ve worked with large-scale health databases to develop predictive analytics for disease monitoring using Python and MATLAB. As a Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Postdoctoral Researcher at DTU Biosustain, I’ve optimized biomedical biomarkers and epidemiological screening methodologies, integrating machine learning techniques to enhance risk assessments.
My expertise in data structuring, statistical programming, and research allows me to streamline research coordination, facilitate stakeholder communication, and contribute to academic publishing. I’m passionate about collaborating across academia, healthcare, and industry to drive high-impact research.
I did a Ph.D., in biomedical engineering and physics. I enjoy maths, statistics, biology, and biochemistry. My thesis focused on microbial motility, applying the mentioned fields of knowledge, plus understanding medicine, image and video analysis, programming, and developing mathematical models.
