Leader of the New Product Introduction (NPI) division within the project, coordinating the procurement process of materials of diverse levels of complexity, mitigating the inconveniences presented in the day-to-day supply chain process, as well as strategically planning new alternatives to achieve the competitive objectives of the organization and the challenging goals of the final client.

• Presentation of the Clear to Build (CTB) report results to the final client on a weekly basis.
• Coordination of procurement tasks through effective communication between the different departments of the organization, suppliers, as well as with the final client, and additional stakeholders.
• Request For Quotation (RFQ) and negotiation with suppliers.
• Execution of reports and cross-checking of databases for the visualization and mitigation of material shortages VS current stock OH, OO, and demand in forecast.
• Reporting of key metrics for the purchasing department and measurement of performance in the project, as well as the presentation of KPIs to different management levels within the organization.
• Tracking, execution and escalation of POs, payments, shipments, quality issues, push out and cancel opportunities, excess and obsolete cases and RTV- RTC actions.

Responsble for managing the MRP to ensure that materials supply equals projected demand, mitigating inconveniences in the flow of the supply chain through problem solving. In the same way, ensuring the greatest economic benefit for the organization, in each task carried out, as well as implementing efficient communication, oriented towards a sense of urgency and detail, to all the participants involved, both external and internal.

PURCHASING INTERN

Purchasing intern focused on New Product Introduction (NPI) division.

• Creation of new part numbers in the SAP ERP system, as well as configuration and link with the corresponding vendor for purchase.
• Reporting of key metrics for buyers to review and control.
• Quoting of material shortages with open market distribution suppliers and calculation of PPVs/ excess impact.
• Support to execute RTV-RTC actions as well as excess and obsolete tasks in order to mitigate the impact of this inventory.
