Ines Vachez Palomar

I am an urban researcher, urban analyst, project manager, and writer. I hold a master's degree in Typologies from the Technische Universität Berlin and a bachelor's degree in architecture from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente ITESO. My research projects, exhibitions, and urban interventions oscillate between gender and public space, forced migration, gentrification, and collective memory.

I have been a guest lecturer at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia UPV, the Universidad de Buenos Aires UBA, and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México UNAM.

In 2021 I founded my urban research, visual anthropology, and publishing project Analog Typologies, whose publications can be found in several cities in the US, India, Latin America, and Europe.

In 2022 I was awarded the Programa de Estímulo a la Creación y Desarrollo Artístico PECDA grant for the publication of my first book: Arquitectura de Remesas: La transformación de un pueblo mexicano (Arquitónica & Analog Typologies, 2023).
