Supporting productive floor workspace design to optimize the safe work environment in conjunction with engineering departments.

• Work with all departments on equipment design and use, fire prevention and safety programs.
• Develops and implements general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company personnel in accordance with local, state, regional and national safety and health rules and regulations, e.g. work at heights, hazard analysis, contractors, change management, confined spaces.
• Management, cell, and department level site audits to detect existing or potential accidents and health hazards and follow up for correction and closure.
• Keep managers and employees alerted the dangers of working with toxic fumes, hazardous chemicals and any other hazardous substances through the risk analysis program developed on the production floor and around the facilities.
• Machinery safety program at site level, 9 k equipment.
• Accident investigation at local and regional level, based on international NOM 004 and ISO.
• Attention to ST-7, ST-9 investigations.
• Follow-up to site KPI metrics.
• Follow-up and support to governmental procedures.
• Participation in audits of potential clients, RBA, ISO 14000.
• Participation in audits of potential customers, RBA, ISO

14000.

• Troubleshooting or safety improvements through Lean tools such as A3.
• Follow-up and compliance with STPS and Civil Protection.
