I’m Jahaziel and I have more than 19 years of experience in IT companies, the last 9 years I’ve been working in the QA area, doing manual and automation testing. I prefer work on the automation side creating scripts and frameworks to help manual testing.

Some highlights in all these years working as QA:

Direct Commerce (06/2022 - 03/2023)

As QA Manager I’ve been doing activities related with creation and implementation of QA processes in the company, starting with a group of engineers to cover manual and automation testing allocated in different teams, I have the role of manager but I’m also doing manual and automation tasks in case it’s necessary. I[m working with the design of a new automation framework using Java and Selenium for now.

Encora, Inc (04/2018 - 03/2022)

09/2020 - 03/2022 I’ve been working as QA Automation with 365 Pronto client I started helping with manual testing, meanwhile I understand the product and the same time I’m in charge of the full Automation, it’s necessary create a new one from scratch, so far I’m working with the design of the new framework, analysing and making the plan and scope for each script included will be included in the automation, after that I’ll start creating the scripts using Java and Selenium between other technologies like Jenkins, Jira, PostgreSQL.
08/2019 - 08/2020 Working with Points client, I had a QA Automation responsibilities, In charge of automation for Travel product, at the beginning doing maintenance work, then was done a revamp of the project creating a new framework to optimise and automate test cases easier and faster. Technologies: Ruby, Capybara, Jenkis, GitLab CI/CD.
04/2018 - 08/2019 Working with OpenTable client as QA Automation engineer, doing activities like create, execute and automate test cases to provide support on backend/frontend testing in a new billing process. Technologies: Java, Cucumber, Selenium.

AllData through Datazone Chihuahua - (02/2014 - 04/2018)

As Software Quality Engineer II in AllData I provide support on QA activities, basically helping to test different applications done by the company. Also doing tasks like creation and execution of manual and automated tests, doing leader’s functions in the automation side. Working together with American people in California, were created suites of tests like Smoke, Regression and Load and Performance tests for different products.
