Android Developer with more than 7 years of experience developing Android Native applications, coding with latest and the newest technologies in Android as: Jetpack compose, Coroutines, Dependency injection, MVI, MVVM, RX, Java, Kotlin, focused on Clean Architecture. Along with all my experience, I used most of the AndroidX and Jetpack components and other tools such as Git, Jira (for Scrum methodology), third party libraries, Google Firebase and more. Creating new features in Watch module, implementing Adobe Analytics, coding Android Auto feature, creating debug configs, adding translations, working under Scrum methodology, making code reviews, refactoring code, fixing bugs, and adding unit tests.

• Creating new features in Watch module as: Contextual menu for live videos to be able to restart, go live, and seek time options. Multiview selector options by camera, and new contextual menu for upcoming and replay videos.
• Adobe Analytics: based on a new feature the app is adding new params to track each event
• Coding Android Auto feature: giving support for podcast player in Android Auto
• Creating new configs to support debug features: setting up to show/hide new features in ESPN app based on this debug options
• Adding translations: Giving support for Spanish, English, Dutch languages. Working with a map to handle translations depending on location & edition.
• Working under Scrum methodology: Working under daily, grooming, sprint plannings.
• Making code review: verifying and reviewing changes from coworkers using Gitlab
• Refactoring code from Java to Kotlin: there are some code in java, so some classes were refactoring to Kotlin
• Fixing bugs for Video and analytics module: Based on some tools as Crashlytics, New relic, Adobe, all kind of issues or bugs, were detected and fixed, mostly the errors were under 1%, the most commons were about payments and video streaming
• Adding unit test: for each new code added in ESPN, by best practices, we were forced to add unit test to prevent issues.

Android sr developer (Disney - APPETIZE) at Globant (2019-05 – 2019-08)

Creating new features for App with XML and binding, implementing Unit tests and Automation tests using Roboto pattern.

• Creating new features for App: creating views in XML files and working with binding to communicate to fragments
• Implementing Unit test for code: for each new code in the app the unit test were required to prevent any possible issue
• Implementing Automation test: based on Roboto pattern, some automations test were required to guarantee the expected behavior in some flows.

Android semi sr developer (Telmex) at Global Hitss (2019-05 – 2019-08)

Creating new features for Telmex sellers app with maps and forms, working with Google APIs, implementing Firebase Crashlytics, and fixing bugs.

• Creating new features for App: the app is based to Telmex sellers, so the app offers a map and some forms to fill when a seller is offering products from Telmex
• Working with Google apis: the app uses Firebase and Google maps API to show possible customers
• Implementing Firebase Crashlytics: Used to track events and exceptions in the app
• Fixing bugs: some bugs reported by Crashlytics were fixed
