Operation of 5 Business Units, 4 Shifts, 6 days a week. Responsible for 2 Business Units, I Lead 2 BUM and 8 Supervisors with total headcount of +880 Direct employees.
- Develop Business Unit Managers in order to assure they are able to meet daily weekly and monthly metrics (KPIs). Safety, Quality, Productivity, Sales, Scrap, CI continuous improvement.
- Assure correct FCTS plan 3 months ahead in order to oversees any sales fluctuation and have full HC on time. Same time we need to assure STD is being use to have proper HC for Daily demand for IDL and DL). Meeting Budget Plan.
- Assure BUM and CFT members work together on a daily basis to keep their metrics under target or to have a plan to execute and improve their trend. In 2019, 2020 & 2021 we just received GM, Subaru, Toyota awards for Quality, Delivery 2024.
- Assure every preproduction is being executed on time and with appropriate resources following procedures by BUM and CFT members, at all Customer visits, we need to be ready to fulfill expectations on R&R to be ready for Mass production.
- Set a plan with related members, guide and lead as required with management during company crisis due to excess of demand by customer, purchasing issues and restrictions.
- Assure managers, Supervisors, GL and Reliefs receive proper training to improve their interpersonal relationship skills, with a Weekly meeting-Open discussion.
- Act as a facilitator assuring all process owners interact with their expertise to our process controls and procedures (BIQS, Q1, IATF-16946, ISO14001, and ISO9000). Currently all Certs are 100% in compliance.
- Perform gemba walk with the teams for improving manufacturing, reduce waste and improve 5s. Currently plant scores 4.2 out of 5.
- Reduced Scrap 20% with mapping the process flow, layout improvements and establishing auditable procedures.
- Manage kaizen event show on a weekly basis, activities with all CFT involvement having total cost on soft and hard savings.
- Reduced down time by working with top three issues each week from 11% to 8% by breaking down root causes.
- Improved OEE system to be able to calculate daily working time report and DT with accurate data and correct daily targets. Currently OEE is above 78% which is acceptable with new lines on ramp up.
- Manage weekly, monthly KPI report to Canton USA HQ.
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly KPI review: Safety, People, Quality, Volume, Cost, CI (continues improvement).

- Develop PDCA to manage opportunities to improve the processes.
- Responsible of the GM and Nissan Final cells and Nissan final cells.
