I am a Robotics and Digital Systems Engineer formed at the Monterrey Institute of Technology. During my undergraduate program I acquired experience in the development of firmware for embedded control systems, mobile robot control, IoT, machine learning, computer vision, among others. Also, as an active member of a Shell Eco-Marathon racing team, I have a keen interest in computer-aided mechanical design, manufacturing processes and computer numeric control.

Autonomous path tracking and traffic signal response system for PuzzleBot
Enhanced the autonomy of the PuzzleBot robot by implementing a computer vision-based path tracking system using ROS (Robot Operating System), Python and OpenCV. Developed computer vision algorithms enabling the robot to autonomously follow a track, detect line markings, and respond to traffic signals.
JOHN DEERE August 2022 – December 2022
Air pressure control framework for agricultural vehicles
Design and development of a system capable of measuring tire pressure and adjusting it to a user-defined value from a graphical web interface to adapt to terrain conditions, thus maximizing tire life. The plant of the control system was characterized using MATLAB and Simulink, as well as the vibration analysis of the pump. Successful implementation of the system with a multicore approach with a real-time operating system.
INTEL January 2022 – June 2022
Implemented a safety system for detecting harmful gases using interconnected sensors to measure environmental variables. The system activates ventilation fans and an alarm if gas concentrations exceed permissible limits. Utilized an ATMEL microcontroller for sensor integration and real-time monitoring via Bluetooth communication with a computer.
