Construction Managenemt: submittals, shop drawings, and RFI's in Procore; change management in CMiC (estimates review and approval); schedule support in Primavera P6; management, distribution, and tracking of meeting minutes with stakeholders; contract closure activities; Punch List Walks for substantial area deliveries and tracking up to the Final Completion letter and administrative closure (bonds, latent defects, warranties, insurance, etc...).
Supporting the procurement department encompasses overseeing the entire bidding process, from contract opening to final execution. This involves evaluating various bids and selecting the best option to present to the owner for pre-approval before initiating the contract process. Once a choice is made, I thoroughly review the terms and conditions, as well as the schedule of values (cost codes and quantities), for contracts involving subcontractors, material suppliers, and services.
Additionally, I monitor the delivery of bonds or bond waivers to ensure compliance.
Application and practice of the LEAN EDGE framework by Alberici. Implemented the Last Planner System for collaborative planning and milestone achievement (Participated in Big Room planning sessions to foster collaboration and transparency among all project stakeholders). Facilitated daily stand-up meetings to identify and address project constraints.
Utilized the 8 Waste Tool to ensure just-in-time material delivery and minimize waste. Conducted 5S Walks to promote a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Walks to observe processes firsthand and identify areas for improvement.
