Structure and Simulation Designer at WASKIRI-SAT BOLIVIA (2025-08 – Present)
WaskiriSat is a CubeSat nanosatellite project developed by the Mechatronics Engineering program at Universidad Católica Boliviana, focused on the design and development of a compact satellite platform for space technology research and in-orbit validation. The mission aims to promote locally developed aerospace technologies in Bolivia, including Earth observation systems, onboard artificial intelligence, and satellite control systems. As part of the structural team, responsibilities include the design and optimization of the satellite structure to reduce mass and maximize internal volume efficiency, while ensuring mechanical resistance through simulation, structural analysis, and testing processes.
The project represents an important step for the Bolivian aerospace ecosystem by encouraging scientific research, technological innovation, and the participation of young engineers in national space development initiatives.
Mechanical Design at BOTHELO PERFORMANCE (2024-08 – 2025-02)
Responsible for designing vehicle parts and components, with a focus on Jeeps, creating CAD models in SolidWorks and performing stress and strength simulations to ensure optimal performance. Gained hands-on experience in welding processes across various metals, including TIG and MIG techniques, which contributed to advanced fabrication skills.
Warehouse Intern at TELFO INGENIERIA (2020-02 – 2020-07)
Responsible for administrative tasks and internal messaging, while managing tools and equipment in the warehouse to ensure efficient operations. Assisted in document drafting and organizational processes. Additionally, contributed to maintenance activities, focusing on salvaging components and sensors from fusion equipment, as well as inspecting fiber optic splices and telecommunications cabling.
