Chemical engineer with great passion for the industry and plating process development 12 years on plating on plastic process and 3 start ups defines me as a professional in this field with a lot of challenges accomplished and a lot of lessons learned with great achievements.

PLATING PROCESS ENGINEER at BIA MÉXICO (2021-01 – Present)

Start up the plating line since the building and installation of tanks untill make up of the plating baths and reach optimal parameters to run projects for OEM´s like BMW, FORD, GM, Mercedez Benz, Audi and Lucid Motors. Promoted since 2021 as the rack designer + plating to increase efficieny to reduce scrap and since 2025 got another promotion as plating production coordinator

• Trials for pre series to adjust all the parameters, dosing pumps, temperatures, times, mechanical agitations, thicknesses, CASS, etc.
• Start up 4 satin nickel tanks to run 24 h straight instead of a 8 hour batch
• Create all documents for IATF, CQi11 and ISO 14001
• Follow all the scrap and give corrective actions through root cause system improving from 45% to 12% general scrap
• Promoted to be the rack tool designer + plating since 2021
• Involved in the trichrome Cr3 process development as new finishing
• As plating production coordinator went from 3fb/h to 7fb/h in six months
• Manage 3 plating process engineer, 3 team leaders and 24 operators

PLATING PROCESS ENGINEER at CERTUS AUTOMOTIVE (2017-01 – 2021-12)

Start up the plating line to make up all the plating baths as preplate and electroplating surrounded by a very large team to run the biggest line in México (35k m3) supported by an American team we accomplished setting up parameters to run 2k parts succesfully

• Leaching all the tanks with the peripherical equipments to start the make ups
• Trials to set up parameters of the line and get the right optimization
• Tansfer projects from China to Mexico for the new plating line (spent 6 months with Certus China team to achive good transfers) 2k focused
• Communication with USA to perform maintenance plan for the line to ensure good parts
• Succesfully trained in Cqi 11
• Leading +15 people to achive the maintenance plan including operators, junior engineers and shiftleaders
• Attend scrap meetings with Mexico and USA to give corrective actions according test lab
• Improved plating maintenance time from 2.5 days to 1.5 days
• Adjust and control satin tanks (galvano silver, PG18, 3Q7 audi and VW)

PLATING PROCESS ENGINEER at NICRO BOLTA SA DE CV (2014-01 – 2017-12)

As first start up line i got involved with the German team to run all the neccesary for a succesfully start up

• Leaching all the tanks for the make ups with all the peripherical equipments
• Trials to set up all the parameters for the OEM´s like Audi and VW
• Achive the maintenance plan according to the plating manager
• Create and control documents according IATF and CQi11
• Control and monitoring the plating line according Cqi11
• Lean manufacturing training, basic
• Promoted from internship to supervisor in 9 months
