I am a highly skilled professional with over 9 years of experience in the food and health industries, specializing in regulatory affairs, food labeling, and nutritional sciences. My background includes in-depth knowledge of Mexican regulations (NOM-051) and FDA requirements, with a proven track record of ensuring product compliance across formulations, raw materials, packaging, and advertising.
Throughout my career at leading companies like PepsiCo, I have successfully managed regulatory compliance for a wide range of products, including healthy food items and nutritional supplements, and played a key role in launching innovative products in both local and international markets. I am passionate about translating complex regulatory requirements into clear and actionable strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant and market-ready products.
Currently, as a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator at the Business Center at UJED, I continue to advise regional entrepreneurs and companies on product professionalization for both domestic and export markets, with a particular focus on the U.S. and Mexican regulations. I am also dedicated to academia, serving as a Professor of Pediatric Nutrition, where I share my expertise with future generations of nutrition professionals.
