Victor Donjuan

I'm a mathematician who used to do research on topological spaces, but after a few years a decided to enter the world of Machine Learning. I'm proficient in Python now and I'm looking forward to learn a lot more.

I have worked for more than a year as a data scientist, in the analytics consultory Vectux Analytics. We have provided many services for different kinds of companies. I have worked on energy investment problems in Central America, predictive mainteinance of power plants (hydro, solar and wind) and forecasting problems.

I have also worked on models to predict and improve contactability and sales effectivity in several contexts. I have worked in cloud enviroments, especially from Azure, such as Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake and Synapse.

I have a PhD in mathematical sciences, which I obtained at the Mexico's national university (UNAM). Although these topics didn't have to do with Machine Learning, I was able to publish two papers and give several speeches at international meetings with other researchers. I feel comfortable communicating results.
