IT Software Developer – Java Developer

• *Key Responsibilities:
• *Software Development & Maintenance
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; follow secure coding and quality standards.
• Analyze business and user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• *Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
• *Delivery Practices
• Contribute to automated testing and build/deployment practices (unit tests, CI/CD pipelines) where applicable.
• Work with databases and integrations to deliver end-to-end features (APIs, data access, logging/monitoring).
• *Key Requirements:
• Strong programming skills in Java (mandatory).
• Database experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.**
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 3+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience with .NET, C#, PHP, and low-code platforms such as Mendix is an advantage.
• Experience with modern Java frameworks and patterns (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices).
• Exposure to containers and cloud environments, and familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, observability).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
