*Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Java Developers to support application development and maintenance for enterprise-level systems. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting software applications while ensuring adherence to software development standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java technologies, enterprise application development, and database systems, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

*Key Responsibilities
Design system architecture and prepare technical design specifications based on functional requirements.
Develop software applications using Java technologies and enterprise frameworks.
Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code following best development practices.
Perform unit testing and collaborate with testing teams for SIT and UAT testing.
Support and resolve issues during system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
Provide second-level production support and incident resolution.
Ensure all development activities follow software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards.
Participate in system deployment and release management processes.
Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and quality standards.
Work closely with development teams, testers, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
*Requirements
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of:
Core Java
JSP
Servlets
Spring Core (not Spring MVC)
Hibernate
JavaScript
XML / XSL
SQL
Experience with J2EE design patterns.
Familiarity with WebSphere and DB2 technologies.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Crystal Reports.
Exposure to insurance or financial services industry systems.
Experience working in enterprise-scale development environments.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,184.53 - RM12,263.56 per month
