• *About the Role**

We are building a small, high-quality engineering team in Kuala Lumpur and are looking for experienced developers who enjoy solving real problems and working across multiple parts of the stack.

This role is ideal for engineers who are comfortable working in both PHP and Python environments and who enjoy collaborating in an Agile development environment. Candidates with experience across both backend and adjacent systems (“dual-stack” developers) will be especially valuable to our team.

• *What You’ll Work On**

You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and applications that support our core business systems.

Responsibilities include

• Designing and building backend services using PHP and Python
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams using an Agile development methodology
• Writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code
• Contributing to system architecture decisions and improving existing systems
• Participating in code reviews and technical discussions
• Debugging issues and improving application performance
• Working with APIs, databases, and service integrations
• *Preferred Technical Background**

We are interested in developers who bring strong engineering fundamentals and practical experience building production systems.

Ideal candidates may have experience with

• PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar)
• Python frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
• RESTful API development
• SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Version control systems such as Git
• Containerization or cloud infrastructure (Docker, AWS, etc.)
• Agile / Scrum development practices

Developers with experience working across multiple technologies or layers of the stack (dual-stack) are strongly encouraged to apply.
