With a total of twenty-two (22) years of experience, I have worked extensively as an engineering design consultant in the oil and gas industry, covering both detailed engineering and modifications for offshore platforms—including Wellhead Platforms (WHP), Central Processing Platforms (CPP), FPSOs, FLNGs—and onshore petrochemical plants. Throughout my career, I have participated in all phases of project development, from Pre-Conceptual, Conceptual, Pre-FEED, and FEED stages, to Detailed Design for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects. My background also encompasses Follow-on Engineering, Fabrication Engineering Support, and Operation Engineering Support, with a recent focus on asset integrity management.
My professional activities have involved preparing a wide range of engineering deliverables such as document specifications, technical requisitions, operations procedure manuals, design calculations, and pipe support and stress analysis. I am skilled at reviewing and interpreting various technical drawings, including P&IDs, Equipment Layouts, GAs, pipe support details, Isometrics, and Piping Plans. I am thoroughly familiar with international design codes and standards, such as ASME, ANSI, API, and ASTM, as well as client-specific standards like Petronas Technical Standard, Talisman, GS, NORSOK, Arthit General Specification, and HESS Specification.
My responsibilities have also included technical assessments, equipment maintenance, coordination with regulatory bodies such as DOE and DOSH, and project management tasks.
As an expert user of CAESAR II Pipe Stress Analysis software, I possess advanced knowledge in plant layout design and piping specification. My core work scope includes producing key engineering documents such as basic and detailed piping drawings, piping specifications, piping class documentation, datasheets, as well as construction and commissioning plans. I have experience conducting stress analysis on critical piping lines and collaborating with EPC contractors and clients during design reviews.
