I have been a passionate sustainability enthusiast for the past 10 years and committed to driving positive environmental and social impact. With a deep interest in sustainable practices, I actively seek opportunities to learn, advocate, and contribute to building a more responsible future. I do explore and contribute towards innovative solutions that balance people, planet, and profit—whether through advancing sustainable business practices, supporting ethical sourcing, or promoting conscious everyday choices.
My enthusiasm lies in bridging knowledge with action, raising awareness, and inspiring change in both personal and professional spaces. I believe sustainability is not just a responsibility, but also an opportunity to create long-term value and resilience for communities and businesses alike.
With nearly a decade of experience across corporate, consulting, and environmental sectors, I specialise in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, frameworks, and programmes that drive measurable impact. My expertise spans across sustainability guide development, sustainability gap analysis, research, and training — with a track record in guiding SMEs and corporates toward sustainable practices.
At Thoughts in Gear, I advanced from Sustainability Analyst to Consultant, co-developing national and regional sustainability guides such as the ASEAN Simplified ESG Disclosure Guide and Human Rights and Labour Practices Guide for SMEs in Malaysia. I have trained over 300 SMEs nationwide, supported sustainability certifications development, and contributed to reporting, benchmarking, and strategy development for diverse clients including sovereign wealth fund, telecommunications, and packaging industry. I have also managed large-scale programmes, such as The Sustainability Accelerator for 100 public listed companies.
Previously, at Genting Malaysia, I contributed towards the development and execution of corporate sustainability strategy, developed key performance metrics, and co-authored the company’s sustainability reports, helping secure recognition from FTSE4Good Index Series and the Global Responsible Business Leadership Awards. I have also pioneered the company’s employee volunteer programme and coordinated projects in integrated waste management and biodiversity conservation.
My career began at Ecotone Worldwide, where I contributed to environmental compliance by preparing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Management Plans (EMP), liaising with government agencies, and resolving regulatory and community concerns.
