Danial Arif

My name is Danial, I am 35 years old. I worked for almost a decade abroad at Saudi, initially at an aquaculture farm for 2 years and then at a university researching aquaculture farming. Currently I am looking to shift into data analytics/science, as my job always revolved around collecting and understanding data.

I did a coursera google data analytics course a few years ago but now I am doing distance learning MSc in Data Science to further improve my understanding, accompanied by some personal projects targeting the financial services sector.

I worked as research specialist at an international university for almost 8 years at Saudi Arabia. We did quantitative research to improve aquaculture industry, funded by the local ministry there at Saudi. I handled the practical aspect of the operation, collecting data and maintaining the specimens, setting up many different experiments in both research and field settings.

I collaborated with different scientists across many departments to support their research, such as for ecological and environmental preservation studies, each time learning new and different methodologies and utilizing specialized equipment and machineries.

I am currently attending UTP for my MSc Data Science, and I am expecting to finish all core subjects by the end of this year.

My BSc is in Husbandry Science, from UMK back in 2014.
