Hi, I'm Eric Choo, a self-taught developer transitioning from a music background, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I graduated with a music degree and worked as a piano teacher at LS Music Yamaha from 2019 until now, I honed my skills in patience, creativity, and attention to detail while teaching over 35 students and preparing 20 for exams, achieving a 100% pass rate. My experience includes customizing lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs, including those of students with autism.
In September 2021, I discovered a new passion for programming and taught myself to code. By December 2022, I joined Sigma School and started working as a part time junior frontend developer under a senior developer and gained hands-on experience in Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Now, I am eager to pivot into a career in software development and am looking for a full-time developer job to expand my skills and learn new technologies.
