Internship experiences with Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia and BASF Malaysia build my experience in data management and automation projects. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient in statistical methods and data analysis tools. Proven ability to excel in culturally diverse and fast paced environment.

During my internships, I gained practical experience in data cleaning, data visualization, and statistical analysis for large datasets. For example, as an intern in data management, business controlling at BASF Malaysia, I developed and a highly efficient data quality checking system using Excel VBA to carry out data cleaning processes on COBUS and validate data interface between SAP and COBUS. This resulted in the recognition of over 2000 dummy material records across business units in Asia Pacific and an increase in data accuracy with 30%. Besides that, I also gained valuable programming and presentation skills, and became proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, Excel VBA, SQL, and Power BI.

As a recent graduate from UCSI University Malaysia with a major in Actuarial Science and internship experiences with Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia and BASF Malaysia, I believe I am well-equipped with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in statistical methods and data analysis tools, which make me a great fit for the position.
